How to choose a project

This is an independent directory of 366 ESP32 projects collected from public repositories. Each listing names the exact board, the form factor and what the device does, and links to the source. Nothing is mirrored: the firmware, the artwork and the code stay where their authors published them.

Start with the screen

Every project is filed by the display it drives: square, round, wide, e-paper, or a matrix of addressable LEDs. A round 1.75-inch AMOLED board will not run a layout written for a 4-inch rectangular panel, so the form factor cuts the list faster than the feature text does.

Start with the board

If the hardware is already on your desk, open its board page. There are 45 of them, and each one lists every project in the catalogue that names that board, plus the form factors and uses those projects share.

Start with the job

Use the filters above to narrow by use case or by project type. The playable filter is the strictest one: a preview is listed as playable only when a review confirmed its controls work in the browser.

8 listings run in the browser today. The rest link straight to the source repository.

Hardware is contributor-provided. Check the board revision, the power supply and the wiring before flashing anything — a browser preview does not prove a physical build is safe. Hardware safety →
