Chang Hong Ice Maker Esphome
长虹CH-Z6Y3制冰机接入HomeAssistant ESPHome固件,通过ESP32-C3实现状态识别、远程开关、大小冰切换与UV控制
About this project
A Changhong CH-Z6Y3 ice maker gains a Home Assistant presence by tapping its five-wire P1–P5 panel with an ESP32-C3 Super Mini. The board reads the panel lines as high-impedance ADC inputs at about 1 kHz and recognises standby, large ice and small ice from relative signatures such as `0HHHH` and `MHMHH`, then presses the original keys by pulling a GPIO low for roughly 100 or 80 ms. Power, large/small ice and an UV toggle show up as HA entities over ESPHome's native API. No common ground is used and the C3 runs from its own USB supply; the direct GPIO hookup is called electrically risky, with current limiting or isolation advised for long-term use. Only CH-Z6Y3 is supported.
