ESP32 Tilt Drop

A tilt-controlled procedural maze game for the Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-AMOLED-1.75

About this project

A round 466x466 CO5300 AMOLED on a Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-AMOLED-1.75 turns the whole device into the controller: tilt it and a luminous ball rolls across checkpoint gates toward a goal that stays barred until every gate is lit. Red decoy holes and the exposed rim throw you back to the start of the stage; stages 1–2 hold one wide gate, 3–4 two, 5–6 three, and from 7 on four that narrow progressively. A tap recentres the ball, a swipe up reshuffles the board and a swipe down returns to stage one, each win builds a fresh palette, geometry and route. A QMI8658 accelerometer supplies the tilt, CST9217 handles touch, and the ES8311 codec plays procedural tones while the 30 FPS render loop runs on the opposite core, drawing into a 408x408 RGB565 framebuffer in 8 MB of PSRAM. Builds pin Arduino core esp32:esp32@3.3.10 and clone the Waveshare library.
