PROJECT / ESP32 APPLICATION
AIMonitor
AI 狀態指示燈(ESP32-C3 圓形螢幕)
About this project
A round 1.28-inch GC9A01 screen on an ESP32-2424S012N board shows which AI you are currently talking to and what it is doing, styled after the Apple Watch activity rings. Plugging in USB-C is the only connection: a Windows helper called AIMonitor.exe watches Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, whether desktop apps or browser tabs, spots the Stop and Allow buttons through Windows UI Automation, and streams one JSON line per update at 115200 baud. The outer ring breathes green while generating, pulses yellow when approval is needed, stays green when a background task finishes, and double-flashes red on errors; an inner arc tracks the 5-hour quota. A short BOOT press pages through status, quota detail, daily stats and a clock, and a long press marks alerts read. An optional WS2812 on RX echoes the colours.
