ESP32-C61 desk notifier: round GC9A01 display, BME688 air quality, clock, pushed pictures
About this project
Three animated pages turn on a round 240x240 GC9A01 screen: a clock with Munich weather, an air-quality squirrel fed by a BME688, and the squirrel's day at home, which follows the clock, the room climate and real weather, with hats, umbrellas and seasonal decorations. When air turns bad the squirrel stays put and asks for a window until the button or an HTTP POST acknowledges it. It runs ESP-IDF v6.1 on an ESP32-C61, serves a web page and a small API on the local network, and takes OTA uploads. The air score is the project's own rough estimate, not Bosch BSEC: 25 points from humidity, 75 from gas resistance, needing about three minutes' warm-up to mean anything.
