LINUX PC DASHBOARD / ESP32 APPLICATION
Bc250 ESP32 CYD Monitor
A tiny always-on touchscreen dashboard for your Linux box, built from a $10 ESP32 "Cheap Yellow Display". Temperatures, clocks, power, RAM/VRAM, what game or local model…

About this project
About this project
A Cheap Yellow Display left on a desk as a one-second poller for a Linux machine: CPU and per-core load, GPU clocks and power, RAM, VRAM plus GTT, fan, thermals, and which Steam game or ollama model is running. The host side is a single Python file using only the standard library, installed as a systemd service and serving plain key=value on port 8250; the display draws tiles, graphs and five themes with LovyanGFX, and turns its RGB LED yellow, red or blinking as the hottest sensor climbs, with a red screen at 85 °C. When the host vanishes it switches to DVD-logo, pipes, starfield or Matrix screensavers. Built for an AMD BC-250; NVIDIA or Intel GPUs show dashes.
