About this project

A FoloToy AI Passport badge with 8 MB flash on an ESP32-C3 gains a radio mode: 1,105 built-in internet stations sorted by country, region and genre, pinyin-initial search, and favourites and recents kept by stable ID. The OK key plays and pauses, double-tap favourites, a long press opens the menu; the down key accelerates scanning when held and the up key moves then retracts on a double tap. A 13-action, 247-frame NABO DJ animation is drawn as eight row strips, skipping strips whose checksum has not changed. Audio runs through Helix MP3 and Espressif ADTS AAC with a half-band FIR, loudness levelling and limiting, following each station's own sample rate. When idle it becomes a Beijing-time clock with a 1/3/5/10 minute or disabled standby. This first release admits it is only partly tested on hardware, and that AAC stations, dead sources and long playback remain open problems.
