About this project
A standalone smartwatch OS for the Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-AMOLED-2.06: watch faces in native code or a declarative face.json, always-on display, raise to wake, alarms that wake it from deep sleep, timer, stopwatch, world clock, do-not-disturb and sleep and theater modes, battery screens and an on-watch Settings app. The Community edition is the free build; the paid Pro unlocks the phone link, Android companion, notifications, health, an app and game store, Wi-Fi and signed OTA updates. Both run the same firmware, and a watch without a licence simply runs as Community. The panel is 410×502, and every screen also runs in an SDL2 simulator with snapshot goldens checked in alongside. Firmware builds with ESP-IDF v5.5.x for esp32s3; host and snapshot tests run through cmake and ctest. Pro-only components sit as empty stubs so both editions share the build files.
