GPS TIME SERVER / ESP32 APPLICATION
GPS NTP Server
rust based ntp gps based server for esp32

About this project
About this project
A stratum-1 time server built from three Adafruit FeatherWings: an ESP32-S3 TFT Feather, an Ultimate GPS board and an adlogger board. Rust firmware with two targets — ESP-IDF for the device and a host build for pure-logic unit tests — parses NMEA RMC/GGA with checksum validation, timestamps the PPS pulse on GPIO12 through an interrupt, and steers an NTP server answering UDP/123. The display pages cover time, satellites, PPS and battery, with a 15-second auto-blank. Measured against a GPS-disciplined Pi it sat within about 1.5 ms, and a validation script checks stratum, leap indicator and an offset tolerance of 100 ms by default.
