About this project

About this project

A 128×64 HUB75 panel on the wall plays out the traffic landing over your house: an arrival flies across, tracks the glide path down and touches down with tyre smoke, while departures, go-arounds and emergency squawks get scenes of their own. Positions come from public ADS-B community feeds; Heathrow works out of the box and airport packs can be installed from the web page. Between aircraft it rotates through a map, arrivals board, weather, daily stats, holding stacks and a route globe. The tested controller is a Huidu HD-WF2 with a 5 V supply, since the board's USB-A port does not power the panel. Airline logos are trademarks and must be supplied separately as PNGs converted to 32×32.
