About this project

About this project

LoRa P2P carries readings from battery-powered room sensors up to the CYD touch controller, which also speaks MQTT; a separate ESP32-S3 gateway relays LoRa packets into MQTT for Home Assistant, and an Android app built with Flutter watches and drives the actuators. Sensors report temperature and humidity through a DHT20, wired temperature with a DS18B20, battery level, a float switch and colour/light with a TCS34725. Old 433 MHz CC1101 gear is still supported. Deep sleep is tuned so a sensor runs for months on AA cells. Each ESP32 subfolder is its own PlatformIO project with its own platformio.ini, with esp32c3 and esp32s3 environments; the Flutter app needs SDK 3.11 or newer and asks for the MQTT broker address on first launch.
