About this project
About this project
A small ESP32-C5 board turns into a network health meter: it scans both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, stores a primary and a fallback Wi-Fi profile, reconnects within ten seconds of a drop and falls back to a setup hotspot when both fail. Monitoring uses non-blocking ICMP after a five-second settle gate so slow DHCP does not skew the numbers, and results are averaged over rolling 10-minute and 60-minute windows. Four touch pages show live latency, the two statistics views and the device's IP, mask, gateway and DNS. The backlight idles at 60% and jumps to 100% for thirty seconds on a touch, while an on-board WS2812 reports portal, connecting, healthy, failing and reconnecting states.
