WALL-MOUNTED HOME SCREEN / ESP32 APPLICATION
Tab5 Home Screen
Weather, climate and home controls on a personal wall screen.

About this project
About this project
Everything fits on one 1280×720 page: rain for the next hour, a 15-day forecast, climate, lights, shutters, plant sensors, cameras, music and a Samsung TV remote. It is built with ESPHome and LVGL, and Home Assistant pushes only what changed, so the tablet never polls and a still screen barely redraws. The wake word is detected on the device and audio leaves only afterwards. Twenty-one light or dark themes switch without a restart, and rooms and devices are ticked in a Home Assistant blueprint, so changing a device needs no reflash. The code was written end to end by AI, documented in 68 architecture decision records, with eight experimental offline games keeping clock, alarm and arcade usable when Home Assistant is down.
