STOCK TICKER APP / ESP32 APPLICATION
Awtrix Stocks
Stocks app for AWTRIX NG on the Ulanzi TC002 pixel clock

About this project
About this project
A Berry app that turns a Ulanzi TC002 pixel clock running AWTRIX NG into a stock ticker: up to twenty quotes as scrolling blocks, each with the company logo, the ticker in large type, the day change in colour with no sign, the price beneath and a small triangle so direction reads without colour. A second mode shows one stock per page with a dot row along the bottom. Quotes come from Yahoo Finance's public chart endpoint, logos from a GitHub icon set with a fallback site, and earnings dates from Nasdaq — all keyless, all over HTTPS with certificate checks. The first page also reports the market state as a drawn glyph, and session times come from the first stock's quote so the stock feed already handles daylight saving. Installed by PUTting the .ax file to the clock's apps API.
