About this project

About this project

An ESP32-S3 with MicroPython drives an Android phone through its UI - no PC and no ADB host. The board joins the phone's hotspot, reads the accessibility tree from the Mobilerun Portal app over HTTP, asks a DeepSeek model for one JSON action at a time and taps, swipes or types until the task says done. Verified on a N16R8 board with a OnePlus Ace 6T running Android 16: finding the Android version took 12 steps, reading the battery 6, both answers correct. 8 MB PSRAM is recommended but boards without it can still run text-only tasks. Everything per-step depends on the hotspot staying up and the Portal token, which is stable until the app is reinstalled; typing needs the Portal keyboard set as the active IME. Each step takes 3 to 10 seconds, and screenshots are not used on purpose.
