About this project
About this project
A wall panel that repaints the sky five times a minute with the next prayer time on it. The picture is drawn on a server, not the device: `skyclock.py` renders an 800×480 PNG in about 50 ms with the sun's real altitude setting the colour, stars and the moon in its phase at night, a draining countdown bar that turns amber at 20 minutes and red at 5, and a 24-hour sun curve carrying all five prayers. A Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-7 on ESPHome just fetches `image_url` every 30 seconds. Times follow ISOC's settings and stayed within a minute of its published timetable across 2026 from Feb 2 to Dec 31.
