About this project

About this project

Hold the AI key, talk, release to mute: the S3AI handheld enumerates as a standard UAC1 USB microphone — mono, 48 kHz, 16-bit — and any recorder on the host can use it, because speech-to-text happens on the computer. While you speak, a 240×240 ST7789 shows a real 1024-point Hann-window FFT split into 24 bands across roughly 94 Hz to 12 kHz; when you stop, it falls back to a clock synced over Wi-Fi against `ntp.aliyun.com`, `time.cloudflare.com` and `pool.ntp.org`, displayed in Beijing time. Install is application-only through the Launcher SD browser, never at flash offset `0x0`. Audio quality and sleep current were not measured on hardware.
