Personal ESP32 Waveshare EPaper Weather Calendar

About this project
About this project
Date, time, today's weather and a 24-hour temperature curve sit on a Waveshare 4.26-inch 800x480 e-paper panel, redrawn with a partial refresh so the clock ticks without flashing the whole page and a full refresh whenever the date changes. Weather arrives from OpenWeatherMap every 30 minutes, tomorrow's minimum, maximum and rain chance included; the curve is smoothed with a Catmull-Rom spline. It is one .ino in the Arduino IDE with GxEPD2, Adafruit GFX and ArduinoJson, and a config.h holds the Wi-Fi details, API key, latitude and longitude, with the timezone set separately in the sketch. Six wires go to the panel on fixed GPIOs. A 3D-printed stand in the models folder holds the display at a viewing angle; the parts glue together.
