About this project
About this project
An M5Stack Tab5 boots into a setup screen and then becomes a colour Macintosh LC or II running System 7.5.5 — pick the model, memory and a 13-inch or 12-inch monitor, tap Start, and a 68020 at 15.67 MHz on the Musashi core takes over a 640×480 desktop scaled onto the 5-inch panel. A finger on the touchscreen is the mouse, or pair a BLE keyboard and mouse. Three drives mount disk images from microSD, and dropping `.sit`, `.cpt` or `.hqx` archives on the web page unpacks them into a new image. Mac ROMs are copyrighted and not included, and there is no SCSI, AppleTalk, printer or copy-protected floppy support.
