HOME ASSISTANT E-PAPER DASHBOARD / ESP32 APPLICATION
E-Paper Home Dashboard
Battery-powered e-ink dashboard for Home Assistant — weather, calendar, sensors — built with ESPHome on LOLIN S3 Pro + Waveshare 7.5" e-Paper

About this project
About this project
Current weather, a four-day forecast, calendar events, any Home Assistant sensor and a battery footer share a 7.5-inch monochrome panel that wakes for a short cycle every 20 minutes, draws once and sleeps again on a LOLIN S3 Pro - roughly a month from a 2500 mAh cell. The configuration is ESPHome YAML: entity IDs sit in one substitutions block, a template sensor file in Home Assistant reshapes the forecast, and fonts are copied into the config folder before flashing. Weather is the only mandatory source; calendars, fuel price, EV range and task counters are optional. The 800x480 display is rotated to portrait and split into five fixed zones, the on-screen text is Polish, and a Gerber PCB is included but optional - without it there is no reverse polarity protection.
