About this project

About this project

Claude Code's own usage panel, mirrored onto a 1.54-inch 200×200 e-ink card that sits on the desk. A Python daemon on the Mac polls the API's rate-limit headers with the existing OAuth token, reads a status file written by Claude Code hooks, and pushes one small JSON payload over BLE every minute; the Waveshare ESP32-S3-ePaper-1.54 renders the 5-hour and weekly meters, a WORKING / NEEDS YOU / QUESTION / DONE banner, and per-day token stats. Each event has its own chime through the ES8311 codec. Nothing is soldered and nothing leaves the Mac. Sleep draws a small `zZ` and pulls about 20 µA, so a charge lasts roughly a week.
