About this project

About this project

Wi-Fi channel state information is the raw material here: an ESP32-S3 receiver captures complex I/Q from ordinary traffic, and a PyQt5 desktop tool logs it into room-and-date folders with a per-trial wait and recording countdown. A plain fixed router can serve as the transmitter, so no second ESP32 is required; an ESP-NOW sender is optional and defaults to Wi-Fi channel 11 with source MAC one fixed example source address. The trigger can switch between `router_ping` and `null_data` without reflashing. Firmware builds with ESP-IDF 5.5.5, the receiver streams at 2,000,000 baud, and recordings come with JSON sidecars and a manifest so downstream fall-detection training has an audit trail.
