ADS-B FLIGHT WALL / ESP32 APPLICATION
Flightwall Matrixportal
FlightWall display firmware for Adafruit MatrixPortal ESP32-S3 and dual 64x32 HUB75 panels

About this project
About this project
Two 64×32 HUB75 panels chained left to right give a 128×32 wall display that reads ADS-B data straight from a readsb or dump1090 feed and picks out the aircraft worth showing. An Adafruit MatrixPortal S3 runs it: Core 0 handles network and the web server, Core 1 drives the display in a mixture of German and English, and route and airline lookups come from adsb.im with a local cache. Squawk codes 7500, 7600 and 7700 bypass every filter and force their own alarm page. Brightness follows a BH1750 in three steps of 33, 66 and 100 percent, with the two onboard buttons as manual fallback, and a BME280 or MQTT weather can fill the screen when no aircraft is in range. Settings live at matrixportal.local and are saved permanently. The panels need their own 5 V supply and a common ground with the board.
