STREAM DECK HOMEKIT PANEL / ESP32 APPLICATION
ESPDeck
Turn an Elgato Stream Deck into a wireless HomeKit control panel with an ESP32-S3.

About this project
About this project
An Elgato Stream Deck leaves the computer desk and becomes a HomeKit panel anywhere in the house: an ESP32-S3 dev kit takes the computer's place on the deck's USB port and talks over Wi-Fi to ESPDeck Bridge, a Mac Catalyst app that holds the HomeKit connection and must stay on. The board only carries key presses and pictures. Each key can show an accessory's state, toggle a group, run a scene or a Shortcut, and react differently to tap, double tap and hold. Mini, Original, MK.2, XL, Neo, + and Pedal are supported, but dials, touch strips and second screens are ignored. The board must be an N16R8 with 16 MB flash and 8 MB PSRAM, powered through a passive USB-C OTG adapter from a 5 V supply rated 2 A or more. PlatformIO builds the firmware with ESP-IDF 5.5 and Arduino 3.3.
