KIDS' AUDIO PLAYER / ESP32 APPLICATION
Open Jooki
Keeps your child's Jooki 2 working now that the company is gone: a simple page on your phone, updates in one tap, Spotify, Bluetooth speakers, a new SD card for a Jooki…

About this project
About this project
The Jooki 2 is a children's music speaker whose maker folded, taking its app with it and leaving the device nearly useless. What replaced it is a new core on the device's embedded Linux, driven from a page in a phone browser so a parent can manage playlists, record storybooks page by page, use Spotify and pair a Bluetooth speaker, with an install that takes about fifteen minutes. Updates happen with one tap on the Jooki's own page, a dead card can be rewritten from a fresh image, and a move or a new Wi-Fi password can be fixed without a technician. The guides are written for parents who will never read code.
