RTC CLOCK / ESP32 APPLICATION
ESP32 RTC Clock
Datum, Uhrzeit, Temperatur, Farbdisplay

About this project
About this project
Three parts, no network: a plain ESP32, a 1.77-inch colour TFT and a DS3231 real-time clock module on the I²C bus. The screen carries weekday, date, time and temperature, and because the DS3231 keeps time by itself the clock never needs Wi-Fi. The display hangs off SPI with SCK on GPIO 18, MOSI on GPIO 23, reset on GPIO 14, data/command on GPIO 13 and chip select on GPIO 12, while the backlight LEDA goes to 3,3 V and the RTC and panel take 5 V and ground. Before first use the RTC is meant to be set to the current time with a separate setting program, so it starts from a known value rather than whatever it held.
