OPENCLAW DESK COMPANION / ESP32 APPLICATION
Claw Buoy
ESP32 touchscreen desk companion for OpenClaw: firmware, enclosure, artwork and build docs

About this project
About this project
A 2.8-inch ILI9341 touchscreen with a claw mascot sits on a Freenove classic ESP32-WROOM board, showing room temperature and humidity from an AHT20, a clock, weather, notifications and alarm pings from an OpenClaw agent. It is built with ESP-IDF 5.4.2 for target esp32 and flashed over USB; Wi-Fi and gateway pairing happen at runtime from the device REPL, so no credentials sit in the source. The display LED is driven from GPIO17, not GPIO16, which that board reserves for its onboard RGB LED, and touch sampling runs at 1 MHz with a pressure threshold of 50. A 120 x 70 x 36.4 mm V5 enclosure and STL files exist, but its dimensions and print fit are unconfirmed. Swipes still feel stuttery on the prototype.
