About this project
An Argentine desk monitor on a 1.54-inch black-and-white e-paper panel, where the interesting half is the data: NTP time kept in the board's own clock chip after Wi-Fi drops, weather and sea tides, sun and moon, the several dollar rates, country risk and monthly inflation, RSS headlines, the next four national holidays, plus indoor temperature and humidity. Two buttons page through eleven sections; a long press opens the Wi-Fi portal, another forces a sync, a longer one powers down. Everything comes from free services without keys, and the firmware sleeps between updates, with a measured estimate near 43 days on a 1000 mAh cell. The four-colour panel variant needs its own binary and has no fast partial refresh.
