About this project
A 2.8-inch Cheap Yellow Display parked next to a monitor, cycling through CPU, RAM, disk, top processes, TCP latency, public IP, market quotes, YouTube channel numbers and the health of up to six hosts. Nothing is fetched by the board itself: a small Python agent on the PC gathers metrics with psutil and caches the external APIs, while the panel only speaks plain HTTP on the LAN, so no TLS or API keys sit on the microcontroller. Nine tabs can be trimmed to taste; notifications, threshold alerts that blink the PC icon, night mode and OTA updates with automatic rollback live in the firmware, and settings are kept in flash. The agent listens on port 8377, and an EXE build avoids installing Python on Windows. Anything on the same network can use the web interface until a password is set.
